Shanghai Craft beer festival to end the day

After resting a bit I decide to walk to the Craft beer festival location that I saw while I was coming to the hotel. I assume they will serve food as well so I can spend my time there.
Once there I immediately understand that is a place in regime of extra-territoriality. I’m not anymore in China, I’m in Europe, in the USA or, in other terms, in the land of the expats. Not a single Chinese face around me. Beer is so and so, music is better but it is played by some American band with a quite old singer. They play in a very professional way. In the video below you can see a small excerpt of the band playing the iconic “Le Freak” from “The Chic” of that absolute genius called Nile Rodgers. I have to admit that the atmosphere of the festival but also the view of the entire area makes me Shanghai a bit unpleasant. Yes, it’s me… this is my old communist approach but when I see Americans taking control of a foreign country I became upset. If you don’t like this, please forgive me.
I really do hope that tomorrow, visit of the town will make me change the opinion about Shanghai. I don’t know but, for now, I leave you with the little excerpt of the concert at the festival and a couple of photos I took during the train trip, immediately below.
