Welcome to a new section of my web site.
Under this title: “Icons” I will collect photo stories about iconic places like monuments, towns, museums, archaeological sites that became part of popular imagination, places that everybody knows at least by name even if they don’t know almost nothing more about it.
To tell you about them, I’ve defined a completely new format for this site, based on stories and sliding photo galleries.
Sometime I will tell you about my visit, other time I will just provide information about the subject of the post.
The first place, the first icon is North Cape in Norway that I’ve visited in 2010.
Other will follow, sporadically, because, the effort behind the preparation of each of these stories is pretty big that’s why I really hope you will enjoy them.
