An ancient water town.
Zhujiajiao is probably the best preserved water town in Shanghai’s outskirt. The village is peaceful and located on several small islands like a little Venice. It is great wandering around the town crossing the canals on one of the 36 stone bridges and visiting some of the incredible gardens hidden behind the houses.
