A very Chinese area.
The area around the Yuyuan garden and the garden itself is probably the area in Shanghai with the strongest local taste. The Jiuqu bridge with its peculiar shape will be crossed several time by tourists. The garden is a perfect example of local style with rocks, bamboo trees and pavilions.
