A town with an important role in history.
Yekaterinburg is one of the most modern towns in Russia and it owns some of the tallest skyscrapers in the country but it is also a place marking history. Here the Tsar family, Romanoff, was executed in 1918. Here is also born Boris Eltsin, the “white crow” that was the first president of Russian Federation. Life seems to be more relaxed here than elsewhere in Russia and maybe this is shown also by this photo album.
