In the land of Buryats.

Ulan Ude is the capital of the Republic of Buryatia. Among tourists is known for being a sort of gate to the lake Baikal but mostly because of a giant Lenin’s head, world biggest in its kind. However, the town has much more to offer, from the buuzy, the local dumplings to the beautiful wooden houses. On top of it there is that feeling of Mongolia that is quite close.

I visited Ulan Ude during my trip around the world. If you want to read something more, you can find here below the article I wrote about it.
