A strange mix.

Ulaanbaatar, the huge capital of Mongolia, by far the largest town of the country, owns a peculiar mix of soviet style architecture, steel and glass modern buildings and old buddhist temples. To see all these styles it is enough to walk around Sukhbaatar Square and then move to the nearby Choijin Lama Museum, a former Buddhist temple.

I’ve visited Ulaanbaatar during my trip around the world. Here below you can find the articles I wrote to describe the town.
