An army for the Deaths.

More than 2.000 years ago the first Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huang died. After a life spent at war, someone, maybe himself, who knows, decided that also in the eternal life, he should have stayed next to the army. Luckily it was just a terracotta copy of it but quite huge indeed. Nowadays in the Archaeological site near Xi’an there are about 8.000 clay soldiers and some of them ended up also in this photo album.

I’ve visited the site of Terracotta Army during my trip around the world.
