Pride of East Germany

I’ve visited Dresden in 2016 as part of a short break in Saxony. This is probably one of the most beautiful town in Germany and for sure the best in the former Eastern Germany. The town was destroyed during second world war by horrible bombings and the story inspired Kurt Vonnegut for his Slaughterhouse-Five.
However, those bad memories are easily forgotten if you walk nowadays in the old town, inscribed in UNESCO heritage.
