Beauty and decadence.

The town of Constanța lived better days but it keeps a sort of dormant magnificence to be discovered slowly strolling in the streets of the centre. Known as Tomis in Roman age, it was the place where the poet Ovidio was exiled. Later it was a colony of Genua Republic. Nowadays is an important harbour and a good base for nearby beaches.

I visited Constanța during my trip around the world and if you like, you can find here below the articles I wrote about it.
